PowerGadgets are Fun!
PowerGadgets are neat and handy!
The picture above is a neat example of an end result of looking into PowerGadgets. This is one of a few handy meters that I use to monitor my network. The left one monitors free space left on the F drive of the Gilligan server. The right one monitors CPU usage of another server.
I used the following code in the free space left gadget:
(((gwmi -query "select * from win32_logicaldisk where volumename='HDDName'" -computername gilligan).freespace))/(1024*1024*1024)
PowerGadgets can capture any variable you can grab with WPS, which is darn near anything. Neat!
